Acton Town

As a major suburban interchange of the Piccadilly and District lines serving nearly 6 million passengers each year, Acton Town Tube Station is a crucial part of London's underground rail network.

All 270 stations on the London Underground network are constantly assessed for the suitability and safety of their lighting. At Acton Town, 300 Designplan Camasys fittings were installed to provide bright, non-dazzling illumination for all areas of each platform, the stairwells and sections of the station concourse.

This bespoke suspended lighting solution allows all cabling and supports to be neatly encased out of sight and protected from the elements. The Camasys IP65 rating protects the light from water and dust particles, making it a highly reliable and robust product.
